WILL & BETTY WYATT:

Leadership Images

Will and Betty Wyatt started this discipleship experience in 1977 and continue to direct the ministry on a volunteer basis. Both of them were on Young Life staff at one time, Will as an area director and Betty as secretary to founder, Jim Rayburn. After leaving full-time staff they continued to be volunteer area directors in Southern California, while running several businesses of their own. They have been involved as volunteers in several other special projects for Young Life through the years, including the inception of Wilderness Ranch, one of Young Life’s wilderness camping properties.

Will graduated from Biola University and California State University, Los Angeles. He and Betty had a large wholesale nursery, an audio-visual production company, and several other smaller business interests in Southern California. After many years living in Escondido, California, where they were members of Emmanuel Faith Community Church, they moved to Murrieta, California, where they attend Faith Bible Church. They have two married children and three grandchildren.

DENNIS & SHANNA FULLER:

Dennis grew up in Garland, Texas. He was a volunteer leader for Young Life for nine years. Dennis went through Discipleship Focus in 1990 and again in 1992 and 1993 while building log cabins at Notch Pines, the Branson facility. Shanna grew up in Parsons, Kansas, and graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Community Health and Nutrition. She went through the discipleship program in 1991 and again in 1992 when she met Dennis. They have four children, Cole, Grace, Josie, & Ellie.

They were a part of the discipleship program leadership in Branson from 1997 through 2000. In January 2001, they moved to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, to oversee the building of the new facility and direct the program there.

JIM & JOYCE LEMKUIL:

Lemkuils

Jim and Joyce were led by the Lord to manage the volunteer maintenance crew at Notch Pines in 1993. Jim was an instructor of welding at Triton College in Illinois for 24 years before he retired. Joyce claims to have been a "domestic engineer" for most of their 53 married years. They have two children, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

VOLUNTEER SUMMER LEADERSHIP

Each summer singles, couples, and/or families assist on a volunteer basis in the leadership of this discipleship experience. Their unselfish, sacrificial devotion to the men and women attending this program is a labor of love and a major vehicle through which God works in so many lives.
